On the go, at all times? Rest and Rejuvenate

Some people feel the need to be on the go at all times, while others are always waiting and watching for that something that cannot be missed. They need to feel ready to take charge at any time, any day for the fear of losing out at a chance of great triumph. While that is admirable, it can also deplete a person of energy.

The truth is if you do not take time out for yourself to rest and rejuvenate, you might be too exhausted to even notice an opportunity at triumph. Have you ever heard of a student who studies countless of hours, day and night without a break and all of the sudden they either wake up late and miss their exam or may be too exhausted during the exam to even remember what they studied?

It is important to have balance in our lives and in that balance, making time for rest and rejuvenation should be a priority, than all else will follow and you will be more able to make better decisions because you will have a sound mind. You will also be able to differentiate what is right from wrong; your goals will become clearer and opportunities more available.

So, in your quest for accomplishment, what have you done lately to get rest and rejuvenation? Have you made it a point to get an adequate amount of sleep or treat yourself to a day at the local spa, have you popped a movie into the DVD player for a couple of hours, laid back and relaxed instead of being glued to your phone or computer? Have you done the simplest, but most rewarding of things, such as going to the park sitting on a bench to enjoy the wonder of it all or perhaps taking power naps in between all the hustle and bustle?

If your answer is no to these questions, than it may be time to implement these things in your life and begin experiencing the positive difference it can make in the way you feel and do things.
